Co-Creation Workshops on Digital Interventions in Mental Health in Slovenia

The University of Maribor, in collaboration with UKC Maribor, is organizing a series of co-creation workshops within the EU projects MEDViEW and CERTAIN (Pilot 2 – Health). The workshops focus on digital interventions in child and adolescent mental health and are taking place at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit, at UKC Maribor, involving children, adolescents, parents, and healthcare professionals.

Through interactive sessions, participants contribute directly to the design of AI-supported solutions for the early detection and monitoring of psychiatric risks. These activities strengthen MEDViEW’s knowledge valorisation mission by bringing real-world perspectives into the development of healthcare innovation, while CERTAIN provides the technological framework for trustworthy and explainable AI in clinical practice.

Building on previous participatory initiatives in EU projects such as SMILE,  BIOSTREAMS, and AI4HOPE, the University of Maribor continues to promote human-centred, co-created digital health solutions that respond to the needs and experiences of citizens, families, and professionals.
