On 8 October 2026, MEDViEW will take part in “Knowledge Valorisation in Action: from Results to Policy”, a hybrid workshop organised by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation.
Bringing together Horizon Europe projects from across Europe, the workshop will explore innovative approaches to transforming research results into value for society, policy and the market. Participants will exchange practical lessons on how research outcomes can be shared, adopted and used to support new policies and actions across Europe.
During this event MEDViEW is going toshare how experimentation and stakeholder collaboration can help bridge the gap between research and practice. Particular attention will be given to citizen-centred co-creation and its role in accelerating the uptake of innovative solutions in the health and well-being sector.
This contribution reflects MEDViEW’s wider mission to create an enabling environment for collaboration between citizens, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry and policymakers, helping research-driven solutions generate tangible and lasting benefits for society.
The hybrid workshop will be held on 8 October 2026, both at the Centre Albert Borschette in Brussels and online. It offers researchers, policymakers, research organisations and other stakeholders a space to exchange perspectives on how knowledge valorisation can strengthen the societal, policy and market impact of research.
