MEDViEW was presented at the 35th Meeting of Paediatricians and the 22nd Meeting of Paediatric Nurses of Slovenia, held on 19-20 March 2026 in Maribor, Slovenia.
Representatives of project partner University of Maribor (UMA) introduced MEDViEW alongside other EU-funded projects focusing on health and digital technologies, including SMILE and CERTAIN.
The conference brought together healthcare professionals to exchange knowledge on key topics in paediatrics, ranging from emergency care to emerging clinical insights. It provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of MEDViEW and discuss how research, innovation and digital solutions can contribute to improved clinical practice and patient care.
Valentino Šafran and Zala Meklav represented the University of Maribor on-site, engaging with clinicians, nurses and other stakeholders and introducing MEDViEW’s approach to strengthening collaboration and knowledge valorisation in health and well-being.
Participation in events such as this supports MEDViEW’s ambition to connect researchers, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders, encouraging the exchange and uptake of knowledge that can ultimately contribute to better health and well-being across Europe.
